Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 3am on Wednesday March 29 after the car hit a wall.

Metropolitan Police said a paramedic was assaulted at the scene.

A spokesman for the police said: "Police were called at 3.05am on Wednesday, 29 March to a road traffic collision in Princes Drive, Harrow.

"Officers attended and found a car in collision with a wall.

"London Ambulance Service attended and a paramedic was allegedly assaulted."

The driver was taken to a north London hospital.

His injuries are not life-threatening, the police said.

A 20-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of common assault and drink driving in connection with the incident.

He has been bailed to return on a date in late April. Enquiries continue, police said.
