A man was reportedly stabbed at an Ealing laundrette this afternoon (September 28).

Ealing Common councillor Jon Ball tweeted a picture of several police cars and an ambulance near Bubbles Laundrette in St Mary's Road.

According to Cllr Ball, there was a stabbing inside the laundrette and police were seen chasing suspects on foot.

Met police said a male sustained a cut to his hand.

Officers added they have arrested a man for "points and blades."

Last week tributes were paid to "beautiful" Stephen Raynor who died from a stab wound in Hanwell on September 17.

Mr Raynor, from Hammersmith according to his Facebook account, was pronounced dead in hospital at 11.45pm after paramedics and police had rushed to the scene in Baker House, Nightingale Road, at around 11pm.

Officers have charged his partner, Elizabeth Hart-Browne, with murder.

An employee from Bubbles Laundrette denied the altercation involved a stabbing, but said a fight had broken out.
