A pensioner who was missing for two days from Brentford in Hounslow has been found "safe and well" following a Met Police appeal to trace him.

74-year-old, Alister Daniels, was reported missing when he did not return after leaving his home in Brentford at around 11am on March 1 and officers were growing concerned for his safety and wellbeing.

However, taking to Twitter on March 3, Hounslow Police announced that he has been found.

The tweet read: "Alister Daniels, 74, has been missing from his home address in Brentford since Wednesday, 1 March has been found safe and well. Thank you"
