A white van has been pictured floating in the canal at Maida Vale after plunging into the water in the early hours of Saturday (March 19).

Police said officers were called to the area at 2.15am after the van had veered into the canal from Blomfield Road.

Thankfully, the driver and two passengers managed to escape the van and got out of the canal before police, London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade arrived at the scene.
