Tributes have been paid to a 28-year-old charity worker fatally stabbed outside his Paddington home on Monday (October 16).

Abdul Samad was rushed to hospital from his doorstep at 11.45pm on Monday after being attacked in the street.

Emergency services were called to Fleming Court, in St Mary's Terrace, at 11.45pm on Monday and Abdul was taken to St Mary’s Hospital.

He sadly died there at around 12.52am on Tuesday (October 17).

A 17-year-old and 18-year-old male were arrested near the scene in the early hours of Tuesday morning and both teenagers remain in custody at north London police stations.

Police confirmed that the men who attacked Abdul are understood to have been on mopeds.

Abdul worked for Dragon Hall Trust charity that helps young Londoners develop their tech skills.

Abdul was as an "extremely talented" and "will be sorely missed"

In the hours following his tragic death those close to Abdul have described him as an "extremely talented" young man who "will be sorely missed."

Abdul's boss, Dragon Hall Trust director, Nicole Furre, told getwestlondon: "We are a very close knit team here and Abdul was very much part of it.

"He was extremely talented with tech and really great with children and young people."

Abdul helped young Londoners develop their computer skills

She added: "He could even manage to make coding exciting.

"He will be greatly missed here and he had an impact on a lot of people.

"We're all still trying to process what has happened and he will be greatly missed."

Detective Chief Inspector Sam Price is leading the investigation by the Homicide and Major Crime Command.
