Children's charity NSPCC is urging people across west London to throw a spook-tacular ghoulish green party in the fight for every child.

The charity is calling on people living or working in Ealing , Hounslow , Harrow , Hillingdon , Hammersmith and Fulham and Kensington and Chelsea , to get behind its 'Go Green For Halloween ' event this October.

From freaky cake bakes and green themed fancy dress fright night parties to taking on a frightful challenge, everyone can get involved including schools, offices, community groups and family and friends.

People are encouraged to share photos and video on the fun festivities using #GoGreenForHalloween on Facebook, Twitter @NSPCC and Instagram @nspcc_official

People can sign up for a free fundraising pack and start planning for an event before or on October 31.

Haylee Smith, NSPCC’s community fundraising manager for the Hounslow area, said: “Whatever you do this Halloween, why not make it gruesomely green and raise money for the NSPCC at the same time!

“Anyone can take part, and the possibilities are endless. Fancy dress, parties, food and drink stalls, face painting, quizzes – just remember the green theme.

“So please, go green, raise money, and fight for every childhood.”
