Norwood Green traveller encampment set up just weeks after being removed by police

Travellers have been back and forth on the site for more than a year

The local authority and police are working to remove travellers at a site in Ealing where encampments frequently pop up.

Officers confirmed they are aware of an encampment in Glade Lane, Norwood Green , Southall, on Thursday morning (November 9).

Travellers were moved on from the exact same site just weeks ago , before camping up at Havelock Estate and being moved on by the council.

Norwood Green Police tweeted that travellers were back on the same site.

Nearby residents previously took to Twitter to vent their frustration after seeing the encampment , where travellers have been back and forth on the site for more than a year.

Ealing Council has been approached for comment.
