Footage from the scene of a home in Northolt following a three day stand-off with a man inside shows smashed glass and police tape surrounding the property.
The incident in Wood End Lane came to an end on Sunday night (October 23) when police entered a property and arrested a man on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis, affray and offences under the explosives act.
Officers believed the man, who locked himself inside, had "petrol and combustible material" leading to the evacuation of 80 nearby residents.
Some were even forced to stay at Northolt Leisure Centre.
And businesses nearby also told how they were unable to operate as normal due to the incident.
Deepak Thaker, who runs the nearby Clinique Dental Laboratory, said he had never known anything "on this scale" in the 25 years he had run his business in the area.
