A teenager has died in hospital hours after being stabbed in a residential street in Northolt.

A 19-year-old male was rushed to hospital following the knife attack but was sadly pronounced dead at 5.35pm on Tuesday (April 11).

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at around 3.20pm to reports of a male stabbed in Newnham Close, Northolt.

Officers attended the scene and found a young man injured.

He was taken to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Next of kin have been informed.

An investigation will be carried out by the Homicide and Major Crime Command unit.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "Officers attended and found the male, aged 19, injured.

"He was taken to hospital where he was later pronounced dead at around 1735hrs.

"Next of kin are aware."

Four males - three 19-year-olds and an 18-year-old - have been arrested on suspicion of murder and taken into custody at separate London police stations.
