An 18-year-old man remains in a "critical but stable condition" in hospital after being stabbed in Northolt on Saturday night (November 18), Metropolitan Police confirmed.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing and police had still not made any arrests on Monday morning (November 20).

Officers were called to reports of a stabbing in Newnham Close at 10.30pm on Saturday.

The 18-year-old victim was found with stab wounds and rushed to a London hospital from the scene.

Police believe the victim was attacked by a group of males who left the scene on mopeds.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "He is in a critical condition but he is stable."

"At this early stage, it is believed that the victim was attacked by a group of males who left the scene on mopeds.

"The victim's next of kin are aware."
