A pregnant teenager accused of causing a horror crash that left a man in a coma and seriously injured three others will stand trial next June.

Chelsea Desa, 19, was driving in Kensington, last November 23 when she struck four pedestrians and caused them "serious injury", it is claimed.

She allegedly lost control of her Audi A3, veered across the road and left Matt Gunne, Jonathan Spencer, Anthony Rayner and Kamal Elhaj with horrific injuries.

Desa denied four counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving when she appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court in November.

The mother-to-be was back in the dock on Monday (December 11) at Isleworth Crown Court supported by family in the public gallery.

Prosecutors say Desa lost control of the vehicle and swerved across the road into oncoming traffic before smashing into a bollard and injuring pedestrians.

One of the pedestrians she struck suffered damage to his neck ligaments and the second suffered a fractured skull and was in a coma and the other men were also seriously hurt.

Desa, of Cross Road, Uxbridge, was released on conditional bail until the trial date of June 18.
