Two police officers are being treated in hospital after a crash which has closed the North Circular Road eastbound at Neasden .
Road closures have been in place since around 5am on Sunday morning (December 17) while accident investigation work is carried out between Drury Way (Brentfield Road Ikea) and Dog Lane.
Brent MPS said at 5.15am: "Emergency service and police are dealing with a road traffic collision on A406 North Circular Road in which two police officers sustained injuries.
"Road closures are in place, and we advise motorists to avoid the area and seek alternative routes."
At 8.06am, they said investigations were continuing and the road closure is still in place.
"Both officers remain in Resus in North London Hospital."

Road reopened
The road has now reopened.
The police officers remain in a critical condition, police said.
Three people arrested
Three people have been arrested in connection with this incident, police said.
Car collided with police
A statement from Met Police says:
“Two officers, both PCs based at Brent borough, were returning to their marked police vehicle parked on A406 North Circular Road near Brent Park in Neasden at around 3.40am on Sunday December 17 when a car collided with them.”
