Drivers are being warned about repair work starting on Saturday (January 9) on the North Circular at Neasden .

Transport for London (TfL) have outlined that the next phase of work at the footbridge will begin on Saturday and will last until early March.

One lane will be closed in each direction between Brentfield Road and Neasden Lane until March 8.

Other closures are also expected in January between Staples Corner and Harrow Road, with travellers advised to check routes before setting off.

In December last year, Westbound and Eastbound sections of the North Circular were closed between Wembley and Brent Cross, causing traffic disruption .

TfL have issued advice on travel around the area, with d rivers allowing more time to travel or even consider alternative routes.

Roads around the A406 North Circular Road in Brent will be much busier than usual, especially during peak times (6am to 10am and 4pm to 7pm during the week, 10am to 6pm at weekends)

At peak times, drivers should expect additional delays of up to 30 minutes to journeys on the A406 between Hanger Lane and Brent Cross.

More information, along with day to day breakdowns and traffic impact maps, can be found at TfL's Neasden travel advice page .
