Thousands of protesters took to the streets of London on Saturday (April 16) for the "4 Demands" anti-austerity march.

Demonstrators marched from Gower Street in Bloomsbury to Trafalgar Square during the rally, organised by The People's Assembly.

The four demands related to health, homes, jobs and education, with organisers adding a fifth in the wake of the Panama leaks scandal: the resignation of Prime Minister David Cameron .

Up to 100,000 people were expected to take part in the march, though the actual number who turned up is not yet clear.

Earlier this month, the cast of cult Channel 4 comedy Green Wing joined protesters taking part in the junior doctors strike , and last Saturday (April 9), thousands of protesters descended on Westminster to demand Mr Cameron's resignation .

Protests aren't just about numbers, of course, they're also a great chance to exercise your creative side to get the message across with funny, moving or occasionally downright confusing banners and placards.

With that in mind, we've selected nine of the best from Saturday's march. Let us know if we've missed any good ones (keep it clean, of course) by tweeting @getwestlondon.
