Fulham Palace is to hold its first music festival in its 1,300-year history when it plays host to the FOLD Festival.

The three-day event takes place in June and is the brainchild of Grammy-winning composer, producer, arranger, and guitarist Nile Rodgers, of Chic fame.

Among the acts booked to perform at the festival are Alison Moyet, John Newman and Angie Stone.

The unique event will see Chic sharing the stage with other musicians Nile has personally invited.

He said: “I started FOLD Festival four years ago in Montreaux, Switzerland to pay tribute to the musicians that make me who I am - a collaborative ensemble composer who knows how to throw party.”
