Roy Croasdaile, vice-chairman of Independent Advisory Group for the Metropolitan Police in Brent has been appointed MBE for services to Law and Order in London.

He has been in his role as vice chair of Brent Independent Advisory Group for around eight years; and is also chair of Brent Stop and Search Monitoring Group; vice chair of Kilburn Safer Neighbourhoods Panel and a member of Trident Independent Advisory Group.

Mr Croasdaile's voluntary work commitments have seen him involved in community engagement and liaison and acting as an advisor/observer in several police operations.

His day job for more than two decades has been working in a variety of roles at the College of North West London where he is currently a health and safety advisor and senior faculty of technology technician.
