Sara Wheeler is awarded an MBE for services to government administration and voluntary service to the community in south Westminster.
She is the HR business adviser at the government’s UK Trade and Investment department.

Ms Wheeler is one of the organisers of SouthWestFest, the cultural festival and week-long celebration of Westminster, which takes place in Pimlico.
She also volunteers her time at the Holy Apostle Church in Pimlico and raises money for a little girl with neuroblastoma cancer.
She said: “I’m really honoured and quite taken aback to receive this, and I’m really excited to be going to Buckingham Palace.
“I was at work when I found out. I opened a letter and thought ‘Oh My God’. I couldn’t believe it, I had to call my boss over to calm me down.”
