Dr Tracy Long was made a CBE for services to Public and Private Sector Governance in the 2016 New Year Honours.

She is the founder of Boardroom Review Ltd, which is based in Horbury Mews, Ladbroke Grove.

It gives businesses independent advice on the effectiveness of the board and its committees, and has been leading the field of evaluation since 2004.

Dr Long currently serves on the board of the Department of Culture, Media and Sport, where she is chairman of the audit and risk committee, and a member of the remuneration committee.

She advises the Efficiency and Reform Group (Cabinet Office) on the evaluation of departmental and ministerial boards, and in 2012 contributed to the Civil Service Reform Plan.

She is an advisory director of Carnegie Hall, and a council member of Marlborough College.

Dr Long was a founding director of Avalon Productions and Classic FM.
