A brand new fitness facility officially opened its doors on Monday (September 21) in North Acton.

iGym boasts an 80-station fitness suite, a dedicated group cycle studio and group exercise studio offering more than 50 classes per week.

The new facility, which is operated by Pulse on behalf of Imperial College London, is situated within the student residential complex.

“We are delighted to officially open iGym, in partnership with Imperial College London, to the local residents of Acton today,” says Pulse’s Director of Operations for Soccer and Fitness Warren Ormerod.

“We hope to see as many people as possible come down to visit the new facilities and check out what we have on offer here at iGym”.

The facility has been fitted with a wide range of cardiovascular, resistance and free weights kit.

Members will be able to surf the web and watch digital TV while working out as all cardio equipment feature an 18.5” interactive touch screen.

For anyone looking for an extra dimension to their workouts, the new fitness centre also includes an exciting functional training rig.

Visitors and members of iGym will also get the chance to experience PulseMove, the newly-launched digital fitness tracker which connects their workouts in the gym with all the activity they do outside of the gym.
