Plans for new retirement homes in Isleworth are set to go on display.

McCarthy and Stone wants to build about 29 apartments in Twickenham Road, Isleworth, for older people.

Its proposals for the site, opposite Isleworth Leisure Centre and Library, will go on show in the Vestry Room of Isleworth Public Hall, in South Street, on Wednesday October 7 from 3pm-7pm.

Members of the project team will be available at the exhibition to answer questions and take feedback.

The development would contain a mixture of one, two and three-bedroom homes, specially designed for older people, and on-site parking would be included.

McCarthy and Stone's regional managing director Ali Maruf said: "Our plans would provide a specialist form of housing that would help to meet an identified and growing need in the area.

"We have spent time carefully researching the local architecture to ensure that our proposal is in-keeping and sympathetic to its surroundings, but now we would like to hear the views of the local community."
