We can all now save a lot of time planning our routes across London thanks to a new interactive tube map that lets you figure out the time and cost of your trip instantly.

Tuber is the creation of web developer Daniel Edgcumbe and lets anyone using the London Underground plan out their route complete with essential information like the price and journey time.

The site allows users to select which train lines you view and even gives you details of the newly launched Night Tube services.

Tuber works best through a desktop internet browsers and lets you search for stations by typing anywhere on the page.

Mr Edgcumbe, who lives in north east London, said: "I created tuber out of frustration with the existing journey planners - primarily the number of clicks required, and the lack of graphical representation.

"Along with that I wanted a way to quickly find commute times to any station across the network."

The 26-year-old said Tuber has had more than 20,000 users so far and plenty of feedback.

More is planned for the map including National Rail services, fare 'heat map', annual commute costs and alternative routes.

Those using the online tool can even remove zone one stations to reduce your fares.

This fantastic creation should save London commuters hours every year– something we here at getwestlondon think is a brilliant idea.
