A special home care support service for residents across west London who need that extra little help has opened its doors.

The launch of Expertise Homecare West London, Kinglsey Road, Hounslow aims to help people in care including those with physical, mental or learning disabilities who want to remain in their own homes.

It will serve areas including Hounslow, Brentford and Feltham in Hounslow, Hammersmith and Fulham , Notting Hill and Ealing .

The opening has also boosted employment with 10 registered carers, and as the business expands this number will grow.

Owners Taz Hassanali and Harroon Latif who also own and operate the Hounslow East Pharmacy on Kingsley Road, are joined by registered manager Amit Kumar who will take care of the day-to-day running of the business.

Mr Kumar said: “There is a real need for quality, reliable homecare across West London and we are excited to launch our services to residents who need that extra help in their own homes.

“Our ethos is transparency and quality; the state-of-the-art reporting system we employ will enable our carers to deliver first-class service while providing peace of mind to relatives that their loved ones have been given the care they require.

“We are delighted to have gained the CQC registration and cannot wait to get started delivering quality homecare across West London.”

New home care service launched for west Londoners in Hounslow

The launch event held at Hotel Park Grand on Great West Road was attended by Hounslow councillor Corinna Smart, local business leaders and community groups on Wednesday (January 11).

Councillor Corinna Smart, said: “There are many people in Hounslow and the surrounding areas who wish to remain in their own homes, but need a little extra support in order to do so.

“Expertise Homecare West London will play a valuable and much-needed part in serving these people’s needs and making their lives easier while at home.

"This business will also boost Hounslow’s local economy by offering new employment opportunities to the community.”

The company boasts a real time notification system which allows carer to record their progress on a hand-held device as they complete each task during each visit.

The software is also designed to send email notifications to family members to see the completed actions, for example that a meal has been eaten or medication given.

The reporting system feeds provide families with much-needed reassurance.
