A man who was arrested following an alleged robbery at Tesco in Neasden in the early hours of Tuesday (October 13) has been charged.

Cheyenne Cato, 21, of Iverson Road, NW6, appeared in custody at Hendon Magistrates' Court on Wednesday (October 14) charged with one count of robbery, one count of aggravated taking and driving away, two counts of assault on police, and two further counts of robberies on July 27 and August 2.

According to Met Police, he has been remanded in custody to appear at Harrow Crown Court on October 26.

Mr Cato was arrested in Chatsworth Road following a police chase.

The investigation by Brent Borough CID is ongoing and officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses and information.
