Eleven people escaped unhurt after fire ripped through the roof of a property in Neasden .

Firefighters were called to an address in Braemar Avenue on Monday afternoon (October 30).

London Fire Brigade (LFB) said 11 people managed to escape before crews arrived.

Four engines and 21 firefighters from Willesden, Wembley and Stanmore attended the property, a house converted into flats.

There was fire damage to part of the first floor and all of the roof, said the brigade.

LFB added six people and a further five workers left the building before it arrived at the scene.

The flames were under control by 6.34pm.

The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental, said LFB
