Nandos got more heat than they bargained for after a fire saw emergency services swoop to the Kilburn High Road branch building.
London Fire Brigade (LFB) rushed to the busy Brent road after flames charred the first floor flat level above the popular restaurant on Tuesday (March 7).
Firefighters climbed above The Opulence estate agent to extinguish the "minor incident" in the flat above, which still saw them at the scene for nearly four hours.
A spokesman for London Fire Brigade said: "We were called to a fire at a shop with flats above at 11.58am.
"A supporting joist at first floor flat level was charred but was declared safe by a borough surveyor.
"Two fire engines and a fire rescue unit were dispatched and left at 3.45pm."
NW resident Daniel Green who was at the scene said at the time: "They seemed to be digging up on the top of the estate agents."
A spokesman for Nandos told getwestlondon the restaurant was fortunately empty at the time due to opening hours.
