Murder probe launched after man, 24, is fatally stabbed in Greenford

Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal stabbing in Greenford on Friday evening.

A murder investigation is underway in Greenford after a man was fatally stabbed in Ruislip Road on Friday.

Emergency services were called to the area at 5.20pm and the victim was taken to St Mary's Hospital where he died later that evening. His next of kin have been informed.

The victim has been identified as Dean Mayley, 24, from Northolt.

An incident room is open at Hendon under Detective Chief Inspector Matt Bonner from the Homicide and Major Crime Command. Enquiries into the circumstances of the stabbing are ongoing.

There have been no arrests at this stage.
