A murder investigation has been launched after a young man was stabbed to death in Shepherd's Bush.

A male, believed to be 28-years-old was found suffering from stab wounds and sadly pronounced dead at the scene of the horrific knife attack, on Askew Road.

Police were called to the scene by the London Ambulance Service at around 2.40am on Saturday (October 22) to reports of an unconscious male at a residential address.

A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.

Next of kin have not yet been informed, the Metropolitan Police said.

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating.
