Motorists face traffic chaos on Saturday June 10 after the M4 eastbound closed.

Heavy traffic is queuing on the approach into London.

Problems on the A4 at Earls Court have shut the entry ramp at junction 2, A4 Great West Road.

The AA say the closure is in place to divert traffic more easily away from the serious A4 closure at Earls Court.

A collision on the A4 at Earls Court road meant the road was closed in both directions.

Roads around the area are very slow and motorists have been warned to expect heavy delays

Traffic is currently stationary due to the problems, from Junction 3 A312 (Hayes) to J 1 A205/A406 (Chiswick Roundabout) and there is congestion to Junction 4 A408 (Heathrow Spur/Uxbridge).

The diversion is from the A312 to the A40 then East to the A406 North Circular.
