A motorcyclist has died after a collision with a bollard in Fulham on Friday (October 14) night.

The tragedy happened on Fulham Road at around 9.40pm.

Police and paramedics were called and treated an injured 36-year-old male. However, he was pronounced dead at the scene at 10.18pm.

Formal identification has yet to take place but the motorcyclist’s next of kin have been informed.

A post-mortem examination will be scheduled in due course.

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating.

One user on Twitter said Fulham Road was closed in both directions between Fulham Palace Road and Munster Road.
