Over 20 firefighters and four fire engines were called to a blaze, which turned out to be a garden shed on fire.

London Fire Brigade (LFB) rushed to the scene of a residential street in Willesden , on Tuesday (April 25) afternoon, to reports of a fire, but left soon after swiftly containing the blaze.

It took 21 firefighters just 35 minutes to halt the burning shed and ensure it did not spread further in Peter Avenue, near Willesden Sports Centre and Donnington Primary School.

A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said: "The fire gutted a garden shed and damaged a small part of an adjacent house.

"We were called at 1.36pm and it was all over for us at 2.11pm. There were no reports of any injuries.

"Crews from West Hampstead, Park Royal and Chiswick attended the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation."
