Police have thanked members of the public for their help in finding a teenage girl from Ealing and a pensioner from Hounslow who had been missing.

Officers in Ealing had appealed for help on Thursday (July 21) to find 15-year-old La-Rone Edwards, of Northolt , who had gone missing the previous morning.

Ealing Police tweeted on Friday (July 22) evening to say the teenager had been found and to thank those who had shared the appeal.

Officers in Hounslow appealed on Friday (July 22) for help to find Ana Caldas, also known as Ana Maria, a 67-year-old Portuguese woman who they said had Alzheimer's and spoke little English.

Hounslow Police tweeted on Friday evening to say she had been found and to thank everyone for their retweets.

The two incidents are not connected.
