A teenage girl who has been missing for nearly two weeks is believed to have connections in Hounslow.

Police are appealing to the public to help find Ayan Omar who has been travelling across west London using public transport to areas including Hounslow, Uxbridge, Ealing, White City , Mile End and Aldgate East.

The 16-year-old who likes to be called Mary and also goes by the name Jasmine was reported missing from Shepperton, Surrey on April 24.

A tweet from Metropolitan Police said she had been spotted in Hounslow two days later on April 26.

She is described as a Somali, 5ft 6ins tall and of medium build.

It is not known what she might be wearing.

Anyone who has seen Ayan or knows of her whereabouts should contact officers at Hounslow via 101 quoting reference 16MIS016938.

Police are also growing increasingly concerned for Lorna Narayan who went missing from Ealing Hospital and a pensioner from Westminster who suffers from dementia.
