A woman who went missing in an "out of character" disappearance has been found, nine days after she was last seen.

Minette Emanuel, 48, from Shepherd's Bush , was reported missing after she did not turn up for work on Monday (May 22).

Police in Hammersmith and Fulham appealed for the public's help to find her, concerned for the health and wellbeing of the 48-year-old.

On Wednesday (May 31) a Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "Minette Emanuel, 48, reported missing on May 24, has been found."

Hammersmith and Fulham police thanked the public for retweeting their Twitter appeal to find her.
