A vulnerable woman from Scotland who went missing after being separated from her husband at Victoria Coach Station has been found.

Police in Westminster issued an appeal to trace Veronica Caithness, from Dundee, who was last seen in Buckingham Palace Road, near Victoria Coach Station, on Thursday (August 24) at around 10am.

The 72-year-old was with her husband but got separated whilst waiting to board a coach.

Police say she has dementia and is not familiar with the capital, so may appear confused and worried.

Metropolitan Police issued a statement on Friday (August 25) afternoon to say Mrs Caithness has been found.

"We thank the media and public for assistance in publicising the appeal," police said.
