Police in Hounslow are searching for a 20-year-old man in connection with a "mini crimewave" around the area.

Jamie Smart is believed to be in the Bedfont or Feltham area and police are asking members of the public not to approach him.

Hounslow Police would like to speak to him in relation to a series of crimes in the area.

Posting on Facebook on Friday (October 6), they said: "Can you help us find Jamie Smart?"

Saying officers would like to speak to him about "a mini crimewave", they also added: "Our colleagues at Surrey Police would also like a chat!"

Officers are asking anyone who may know the 20-year-old to ask him to go to a police station, "where he will be offered our accommodation and catering facilities" according to the police.

People who are able to help police in tracking down the individual are asked to call 101, or those wishing to remain anonymous can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
