Three 18-year-old men have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm following a stabbing at Notting Hill Carnival.

At approximately 1pm on Monday (August 31), a man - believed to be aged in his 20s - suffering stab wounds, presented himself at a London Ambulance Service treatment centre on Treverton Street at the junction with Ladbroke Grove.

He was taken to a central London hospital, where he was treated for life-threatening injuries.

Two of the men arrested were also arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and the third was also arrested for possession of Class B drugs.

As of approximately 3pm on Monday, there had been 28 arrests in relation to Notting Hill Carnival. These arrests are in addition to the 126 arrests that were made at Notting Hill Carnival on Sunday (August 30).
