Fast food giants McDonald’s is calling on getwestlondon readers to nominate an area which can benefit from a tidy-up for this year’s Great British Spring Clean.

It wants readers to nominate a spot in west London which will benefit from a much-needed sprucing up as part of the anti-litter campaign.

The location chosen will then be tided up on March 3-5 as part of the Great British Spring Clean, which McDonald’s is supporting.

Staff outside the McDonald's in Southall

Staff from nearby McDonald’s restaurant in west London will be getting their hands dirty, filling bin bag after bin bag with rubbish, with readers invited to come down and help as well.

McDonald’s say community or public areas are ideal for the campaign, and include a stretch of road littered with rubbish or a play area in need of TLC.

Readers can leave their suggestions in the comments box below this story, and McDonald’s will announce the lucky location at a later date.
