A London Ambulance official told getwestlondon that the two were treated at the scene in Manor Road for minor injuries but were not taken to hospital following the stabbing.

The male teenager was rushed to a central London hospital with stab wounds, which were not said to be life threatening after inspection.

"We sent an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a car and an incident response officer to the scene.

"The first of our medics arrived at the scene in under seven minutes.

"We treated a man at the scene and took him as a priority to a major trauma centre."

The spokesman added: "Two patients were treated at the scene for minor injuries but were not taken to hospital."

Metropolitan police officers cordoned off the area as they investigated the scene.

One resident who saw the scene on Friday night said: "It's very worrying as it's only a couple of minutes away from where I live, when I went up to the corner shop the following morning, I saw a patch of blood on the pavement between the newsagent and cab company, so knew it must have been something serious.

"I'm just glad to hear that the person involved will be okay."

No arrests have been made as yet and enquiries are ongoing.
