A man was taken to hospital after a collision with a bus in Oxford Street today (August 4).
Met police were called to reports of a road traffic collision in Oxford Street, Westminster, at 4.10pm near Bond Street station.
Officers said the incident involved a male pedestrian in collision with a bus and attended with the London Ambulance Service (LAS).
He was taken to a London hospital in a serious condition.
There are now road closures on Oxford Street following the incident.
Transport for London (TfL) tweeted shortly after the incident to say that all bus routes serving Oxford Street are subject to diversion following the collision.
On Wednesday (August 3) a man died after being hit by a van in Regent Street , Westminster.
The Metropolitan Police were called to Regent Street at the junction with Hanover Street at 8.10pm, following reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a van.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
