A man was taken to hospital following an assault in Edgware in the early hours of Saturday (April 16) morning.
Police said they were called to Station Road, close to Edgware station, at 2am to reports of an assault.
They said a man in his early 30s was taken to hospital with facial injuries.
A Met Police spokesman said on Saturday afternoon that one man had been arrested and remained in custody.
He said no weapons were believed to have been used in the alleged assault.
