A man was rushed to hospital after paramedics in Wembley found he had been stabbed in the head.

London Ambulance Service was called to the scene on Saturday (February 4) after reports of a stabbing in East Lane, North Wembley.

Police reached the scene in Brent around 9.40pm where they found a 21-year-old man with "a stab wound to the head".

A London Ambulance spokesman said: "A 21-year-old man had suffered a stab wound to the head.

"They were non-life threatening injuries.

"He was taken to a north London hospital to be treated before being released."

Officers from Brent CID are still investigating and enquiries continue after another man was seen fleeing from the scene, according to the Metropolitan Police .
