Police have launched a murder investigation after a man to death in Brent on Thursday (November 5).

According to Met Police , they were called by London Ambulance Service at 2.43pm to Watling Gardens on Shoot Up Hill to reports of a man stabbed.

Officers attended and found a 21-year-old man suffering from a stab wound and was pronounced dead at the scene at 3.06pm.

A Met Police spokesman confirmed that next of kin have been informed, with formal identification yet to take place.

No arrests have been made and detectives from the Met's Homicide and Major Crime Command (HMCC) are appealing for anyone who witnessed the stabbing or the events leading up to the incident to come forward.

Detective Chief Inspector Andy Partridge, of the HMCC, said: “This was an extremely violent incident that resulted in the loss of a young man’s life.

“The attack took place in broad daylight in an area where there would have been many people around.

“I appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident to contact us to help us piece together a picture of events leading up to this murder.”
