A murder investigation has been launched after a young man has been shot dead on the streets of Harlesden .
Armed police and officers in Harlesden found a male in his 20s found with gunshot injuries on Tynsdale Road.
Sadly he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said they were called by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) to reports of a shooting on Tynsdale Road at 10.45pm on Wednesday (November 2) night.
A Metropolitan Police statement said: "Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 22:45hrs on Wednesday, 2 November, to reports of a shooting in Tynsdale Road, NW10.
"Local officers and firearms officers attended the location and found a man in his 20s with gunshot injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene."
Next of kin have been informed.
Formal identification and a post-mortem examination will be scheduled in due course.
An investigation is being led by detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command unit.
No arrests have been made and police enquires continue.
Detectives urge anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information that could help in their investigation to come forward.
Earlier this year in March, Oliver Tetlow was killed in a shooting in nearby Church Lane in Harlesden.
