Fire fighters tackled a blaze at a flat in Ladbroke Grove on Monday (January 23) morning.

Four fire engines and 21 firefighters were at the scene in Wornington Road, where part of a flat on the third floor is alight.

The London Fire Brigade (LFB) was called at 8.23pm, and sent crews from North Kensington and Paddington to attend.

The firefighters used a turntable ladder to rescue one of the occupants.

He was treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service crews for smoke inhalation.

Two others people left the property before the arrival of the LFB.

The fire was under control at 9.19am.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
