A man remains in a critical condition nearly a week after being assaulted in Hounslow.

The man was taken to hospital in the early hours of Tuesday (September 29), with a head injury, after police were called by London Ambulance Service (LAS) to Bath Road, near to Hounslow West tube station, at 3.40am.

Police said on Monday (October 5) afternoon that the man, believed to be in his 30s, remained in hospital in a critical but stable condition.

Four men, some of whom had also sustained injuries, have now been arrested in connection with the incident.

All four, aged between 23 and 34, have been bailed to dates in early November.

Officers from Hounslow CID are still investigating the incident.
