A man was rushed to hospital after impaling his arm on a fence outside Wembley Stadium.

The man, believed to be in his 20s, reportedly attempted to hop over a gate into a car park on Sunday (October 4).

A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called to this incident at 6.41pm on Sunday and we assisted Wembley Stadium's event medical staff who treated the patient and took them to hospital.”

The injuries to his arm were reportedly classed as serious but not life-threatening.

The incident took place after the NFL game between the Miami Dolphins and the New York Jets.

The injured man's condition is currently unknown he was reportedly rushed to St Mary’s hospital in Paddington.
