A man is in hospital and two people have been arrested after police were called to reports of a "disturbance" in Beavers Lane, Hounslow .
Police and paramedics were called to the street, where Hounslow Cavalry Barracks is situated, on Wednesday (April 6) morning, at around 3am.
They said one man was treated at the scene and taken to hospital, where he remained on Wednesday afternoon.
The man, whose injuries are not thought to be serious, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH).
A woman was also arrested at the scene on suspicion of GBH, and she remained in custody at a west London police station on Wednesday afternoon.
Beavers Lane was closed between Martindale Road and Chinchilla Drive for around four hours following the incident, and buses were diverted.
Police said their enquiries were ongoing.
