A man is in hospital with a head injury following a fight in Wembley.

Police and paramedics were called to reports of a fight in Ealing Road on Thursday (July 28) morning, shortly before 7am.

A man believed to be aged around 30 was taken to hospital with a wound to his head. Police said his condition was not believed to be life-threatening.

A Met spokesman said officers from Brent CID were investigating and no arrests had been made.

It is believed the man was found close to the High Road junction, not far from Wembley Central Tube station.

Ealing Road is blocked southbound between the A404 High Road and the Chaplin Road junction, according to traffic reports, as police continue to investigate. Bus routes 79, 82, 223, 224 and 297 are on diversion.
