A man has been interviewed under caution following an appeal over allegations of a series of sexual assaults on a bus.

A 30-year-old man who handed himself in to a north London police station on Tuesday (October 19) was interviewed but not arrested.

Officers continue to appeal for information in relation to at least four reported incidents on the H37 bus route which runs between Hounslow and Richmond .

The victim of one incident on September 14 photographed an alleged suspect which led to an appeal to trace a man.

The 23-year-old victim reported a man had boarded a busy bus and sat next to her at the back of the bus then sexually assaulted her.

The appeal sparked another victim, a 34-year-old woman, to come forward saying the man matching the description had sexually assaulted her on a bus in Lambeth on October 4.

Officers from the Met's Roads and Transport Policing Command investigating team are currently linking four separate allegations.

The other was reported on another date in September by another 23-year-old victim, relating to two incidents that happened in mid-July.

Anyone with information about the incidents or who believes they may have been a victim of the same suspect is urged to contact Detective Constable Teresa Moore, at the Roads and Transport Policing Command, via 101.
