A 21-year-old man who has displayed anti-social and criminal behaviour in Southall over the last five years has been given an Anti Social Behaviour Order (ASBO).

Ealing Magistates' Court imposed the ASBO on Mohammed Shakeel, 21, from Hunt Road, Southall, to run for five years until January 15, 2020.

The conditions state he is prohibited from:

  1. Entering an area of Southall bordered by the Paddington main line railway, Grand Union Canal and Merrick Road;
  2. Entering any bookmakers, arcade or other gaming establishment within Greater London;
  3. Being in possession of any mobile phone or SIM card except one only registered in his own name
Mohammed Shakeel is banned from entering the area marked on this map

PC Sarah Percival-Rickard, Ealing's Anti-Social Behaviour Team, said: "We continue to work closely with our colleagues at Ealing Council in seeking these orders for people who cause misery to law-abiding members of our society.

"We will strive to make the streets of Ealing as safe as possible so people are not fearful in their own environs."

If Shakeel is witnessed breaching any condition, people are asked to contact police in Ealing on 101. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
